What is Chaplaincy?

"A challenge of love, vocation and calling ”Understanding the dimension of suffering from physical and emotional pain experienced by a patient with an oncological diagnosis has linked my heart, know the different stages that people with cancer go through, has generated in me the challenge and the desire to serve, to bring a word of love that comforts, what animate, let it be an incentive in the midst of pain and anguish, that carries the message of peace and calm that only God can give you.
I learned how to provide adequate support not only to the patient but also to the family has given me security to identify the context and background behind the cancer and develop a high level of sensitivity, and be an instrument of blessing despite adverse circumstances.
What is a hospitable chaplain?
Being a Hospital Chaplain with emotions, with sleeplessness, with limitations but above all with the passion to accompany people who still do not identify themselves as brothers in faith, the same love of God flashes in their eyes and in their tone of voice.

What was your most valuable learning from the diploma?
Thinking about comprehensive training, what I learned about the axis of BEING comes to my mind, and how that allows me to have a much clearer vision of why I am what I am?, Why do I say what I say?, Why do I feel what I feel?.
All this analysis allowed me to be intentional in seeking help to properly resolve my griefs and losses that had put them on hold for a long time.. These tools acquired regarding the axis of BEING and healing the inner child allow me to have an easier and clearer path to be able to contribute to society some love and peace to those who are in need of care and affection.
